Better water resources management is a priority that must be reflected in national development plans if Africa is to meet the challenges of climate change.

 

In 2010, institutions in Southern, Eastern, Central, and West Africa are being brought together in regional dialogues on water, climate change and national development.

 

These dialogues will reflect on the outcomes of COP 15 and identify practical ways forward. They will reinforce the ongoing work of national IWRM plans.

 

GWP's Partnership for Africa's Water Development is coordinating the dialogues.
